The situation right now

You've been here.

📋

Buyer sends 60–120 questions

Sub-processors. Model versions. Audit logs. Prompt injection controls. Training data. 40–50% are AI-specific questions that didn't exist 18 months ago.

💬

Three people pulled in

Engineering, legal, and sales staring at a shared doc. A week of Slack threads chasing answers.

Deal pauses

Vague answers. Nervous buyer. "We'll follow up after legal review." Sales cycle extends by weeks.

Without solid documentation, enterprise AI security reviews stall deals for up to 90 days. The vendors closing fastest aren't the ones with the best AI — they're the ones whose answers are evidenced well enough to compress that review from 90 days to 14.

How it works

From questionnaire to response pack in hours.

1

Upload the questionnaire

Paste or upload whatever the buyer sent — Excel, PDF, Word, or plain text. Attestio extracts each question and categorises it by governance area: data handling, model risk, sub-processors, monitoring, compliance frameworks.

2

See where you stand — instantly

Before you write a single word, you see a readiness score. Which questions can you answer today? Which have weak evidence? Which expose real gaps? Find out what the buyer will find — before they do.

3

Document your AI systems once

Fill in the facts about each AI system: model name and version, training data, sub-processors, monitoring setup, human oversight. Attestio drafts answers grounded in those facts — not fabricated. You review, approve, and attach evidence.

No setup required before you start. Most tools expect you to build an evidence library first — upload every policy, configure every system, add all your documentation. Attestio works the other way: start with the real questionnaire, and it tells you exactly what evidence is needed for each question. The library builds itself as you work.

4

Export a buyer-ready response pack

A clean, formatted response pack for the buyer. An internal gap report for your team. Both reusable for every questionnaire that follows — because the register you built this time makes the next one significantly faster.

What makes it different

The plan-first approach.

Attestio doesn't start by writing an answer. It first works out what the buyer is actually asking — and what facts and evidence you need to prove it.

Generic questionnaire automation

Question received

Search knowledge base

Generate answer

Works when you already have a well-built knowledge base. Produces answers fast — but has no way to tell you if those answers are defensible.

Attestio — plan-first approach

Question received

Interpret buyer intent — what are they actually asking?

Define response plan — with rationale

Identify required facts and evidence

Expose gaps — what you can't yet prove

Gather and reuse knowledge

Generate defensible answer

The AI isn't merely drafting prose. It's first answering: what would we need to know and prove to answer this properly?

Where the knowledge comes from

Not an AI wrapper. Built on the frameworks your buyers audit against.

The response plans, evidence requirements, and gap analysis Attestio produces aren't invented. They're grounded in the standards enterprise buyers and regulators already use.

NIST AI RMF
US National Institute of Standards and Technology

The US standard for AI risk management — covering governance, mapping, measuring, and managing AI risk.

Attestio structures evidence requirements and gap identification around NIST AI RMF categories. When a buyer asks about your risk management process, the response plan maps to this framework.

EU AI Act
European Union Artificial Intelligence Act

The EU's binding regulation for AI systems — defining risk categories, required documentation, and obligations for providers and deployers.

Attestio interprets buyer questions in the context of EU AI Act obligations — so when a buyer asks about human oversight or bias testing, the response plan reflects what the regulation actually requires.

OWASP LLM Top 10
Open Worldwide Application Security Project

The definitive security risk framework for LLM applications — covering prompt injection, data leakage, model poisoning, and more.

When buyers ask about AI-specific security controls, Attestio maps questions to OWASP LLM Top 10 risks — giving your answers the vocabulary and structure security teams recognise.

Why it gets better over time

The register compounds.

The first questionnaire is the hardest. Every one after that draws on the same documented facts, the same approved answers, the same evidence library.

Your AI register grows more defensible with each review — which is why it can't be replaced by asking an AI assistant to draft one-off answers.

Not Vanta or SafeBase Those automate responses when you already have docs. Attestio helps you create the docs.
Not a compliance platform It documents what you have — it doesn't implement controls or provide legal advice.
Not cloud-only On-premise deployment available for teams with data residency requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Does Attestio actually read my questionnaire, or just match keywords?

Attestio uses an AI model to extract and interpret each question — understanding what the buyer is actually asking, not just matching keywords. It categorises questions by governance area and proposes a response approach with reasoning. You review everything before it becomes part of your answer pack.

What questionnaire formats does Attestio accept?

You can paste questions directly or upload the buyer's file. Excel, PDF, and Word formats are all supported. Attestio extracts the questions regardless of layout.

Can I upload sensitive documents about my AI systems?

Attestio runs on Hetzner infrastructure in the EU (Germany). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Questionnaire content is processed via the OpenAI API — OpenAI does not use API data to train its models. Analytics and error monitoring do not receive the content of your uploaded questionnaires or generated answers.

Evidence documents you attach are not sent to OpenAI. Only the structured facts you explicitly enter are used to draft answers. You confirm the relevance of any attached document manually — no automatic document processing occurs.

Subprocessors that handle your data: Hetzner (EU hosting), OpenAI (AI processing).

For teams with strict data residency or internal security requirements, on-premise deployment is available — contact hello@attestio.tech.

How is this different from asking an AI assistant to write my answers?

An AI assistant drafts one-off answers based on what you tell it in that session. Attestio builds a living register of your AI systems — with verified facts, attached evidence, and an approval trail — so every questionnaire after the first draws on the same structured foundation. When a buyer pushes back, you have evidence, not just explanations.

Does Attestio help with EU AI Act readiness?

Attestio helps you document what you have — model details, data handling, monitoring, sub-processors — in a structured, exportable format. That documentation directly supports EU AI Act readiness. It doesn't implement technical controls or provide legal advice, but the structured record it builds is exactly what auditors and buyers are asking for.
